Charter Ordinance No. 11-91
A CHARTER ORDINANCE EXEMPTING THE CITY OF OTTAWA, KANSAS FROM THE PROVISIONS OF K.S.A. 12-5040, A LEGISLATIVE ACT WHICH IS NOT UNIFORMLY APPLICABLE TO CITIES GENERALLY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GOVERNING BODY OF THE CITY OF OTIAWA, KANSAS:
Section 1.
The City of Ottawa, Kansas, hereby exempts itself from the provisions of K.S.A 12-5040, an act of the legislature which is not uniformly applicable to cities generally.
Section 2.
This Charter Ordinance is adopted pursuant to Article 12, Section 5 of the Constitution of the State of Kansas.
